Born in 1979 in Antwerp, Belgium, Jorre's drawing talent stems as far back as his childhood, which made his decision to study art and easy one. However, he claims that listening to Guns n' Roses when he was 12 was what influenced him in his decision to become a tattoo artist.
He was tattooed at 17 and began his first apprenticeship at 19 at Daruma Tattoo, Antwerp. After a year in the shop, he spent at least two years working solo until landing in Brussels at Hannya Tattoo.
It was with the owner, Pat, that he participated at conventions in New York, Geneva, Lausanne, Barcelona and Madrid. Now he's settled in Girona, Spain at Body Obsessions.
Jorre's main influences are Aaron Cain, Filip Leu, Timothy Hayes and Chris O'Donnell to name a few. He likes many different styles, especially lively and colourful designs.
