In 1993, I was thirteen years old when I had my first contact with the world of tattoos.

But it took two years more before the bug that bit me became serious and more professional. Four years later I opened my own studio, "Luces y Sombras", in my hometown Montevideo, Uruguay.

After I participated at the convention in Malmo, Sweden, I stayed there for almost a month, working in a shop. I also had the opportunity to go to Berlin to check out the tattoo scene there. These voyages had opened my eyes about the "European tattoo style", which is quit different than the South American.

Liking Europe so much and speaking spanish I ended up in Figueres, from which I travelled back and forth to Montevideo, this lasted for about 4 years.

Looking for a place to settle myself, I came in contact with Liza and Peter, from Body Obsessions. Without a doubt this was the place I was looking for.

In all those years working as a tattoo artist, my work evolved into what it is today. I am an allround tattooer who likes all styles.

En el 1993 cuando tenia 13 años tuve mi primer contacto con el mundo de los

tatuajes, pero dos años después el tema tomo un rumbo mas serio y "profesional" en su medida. A los 19 años monté mi propio estudio " Luces y Sombras" en Montevideo, Uruguay.

En el 2001 viajé al Malmo, Suecia para participar en un convención, y ademas fui invitado a trabajar en un estudio ahi. Tambien tuve la oportunidad de estar en la convención de Berlin en 2002. Estos viajes han incrementado el conocimiento de la cultura de "tatuaje Europeo" que era bien diferente a la de Sud-america.

Luego combiné mis viajes entre Montevideo y Fiqueres, donde trabajé durante 4

años.

Con mucho suerte conocí a Liza y Peter de Body Obsessions, y está e su estudio donde me siento muy comodo.

Sin duda la evolución de mi trabajo ha sido progresivo a al largo de estos 15 años,

pero espero que mis fotos hablan por sus mismos.
